my favorite is the Kaleidoscope; because not only does it look cool, and is fun to fool around with, but it also serves as a great transition efx. i have been having issues with studdering (particularly when i drop the video clips into one of the sixteen video slots), and if i use this efx when i drop the clips in, the studdering is unnoticable...
keep in mind, currently i only have "free" free frame plugins. |

Hmmm, difficult... but so far I really like intrinsic's Inferno. Wicked!
Hardly using though, since it's so very explicit.
Another one would be inside-us-all's Rebelle, with the same remark. |

sorry, but i just dont get this plug in?
i downloaded it and all it looks like to me is an abstract 3D image that you can manipulate, a little.
maybe (mostlikely), im missing something here?
i read something about patches, but im not sure what they have to do with this freeframe? |

As far as I've understood you're capable of running Whorld within any ff-supporting app., with variables. To design a Whorld-patch you must open the standalone-editor and start fiddling around.
Not really my cup of tea though. |

As :stalker: says, after fiddling, the saved patch can then be chosen (after you turn it on a video clip in VJamm) with the FF param and some of the other controls chosen as well (zoom, hue, etc). I think there is an x and y movement that's not picked up though, at least in VJamm.
You can lumakey the whorld clip/patch too, and have the visuals fed over other clips, which can do some cool stuff.
This is one of those 'not for everybody' plugins, but it's always good to have a little something extra to change things up occasionally (and being free doesn't hurt either).
As for my favorite plugin, that's tough to decide, I like a lot of 'em! -Pete |

Whorld is my favourite too but I'm using it in Blueprint. It's a great texture for almost every 3D object and even better when you drop PeteWave on top of it, things start looking a bit 'deep sea organic' if ya follow me.
By snths do you mean Whorld presets, cos if you do I've got a couple of dozen you can have. Let me know and I'll zip them on my site for you to fool with. _________________ MikiStrange.com |

no not whorld synths (although i'll never say no to cool whorld presets ) - more source freeframe plugins that generate stuff in realtime (preferable audio reactive) dare i say like winamp AVS? but you get the kind of stuff i'm talking about - more abstract generative plugins that create interesting visuals.. |

I'm with you on that one too. It'd be nice to see Bomb ported to FreeFrame. Just checked and the source is available too. Just need a nice person to have a look at it. I, in the meantime, will try to pester Scott Draves into thinking about it.
If you've never seen Bomb have a look here:

Oh! The joy of being a lazy git! _________________ MikiStrange.com |
