And it works in VJamm, I tried it today (just load a clip in a slot, and then turn on the Whorld FF plugin). You can make patches in Whorld standalone application, and then scroll thru the patch list when running the plugin.

| Quote: | Whorld is now available as a Freeframe plugin. This allows Whorld to be used within any VJ software that supports Freeframe plugins. Whorld runs as a source plugin, not an effector, i.e. it generates output frames but ignores input frames.
Whorld differs from typical Freeframe plugins in that it loads external patch files. The plugin looks for patch files in a specific folder on your hard drive (My Documents\WhorldFF). This arrangement allows users to customize the plugin's behavior, by loading different patches. Patches are created or edited using the Whorld application.
NOTE that version 1.4 of the application is required for full Freeframe plugin support. |

Thanks for sharing that one LMDD. I'm going to drop it into Blueprint tonight and see how I get on. _________________ MikiStrange.com |

Just spent the evening setting up Blueprint snapshot's using just a couple of clips and the Whorld FF plug. It's a really great plug and the standalone is superb for making presets once you've got the hang of what you're doing.
Once again, thanks LMDD for bringing this to light. _________________ MikiStrange.com |

Being both Lazy and graphically challenged I found Whorld extremely useful.
Thanks Alot.
I made a vjamm patch with it, then discovered lots more (whorld) patches
on the website and downloaded/installed them.
Unfortunately the next time I loaded Vjamm it had corrupted my patch - lots of the Patch settings in the FF window were set to -1 and the slider has no effect when I move it.
Any ideas?
Whilst I'm here are there any other generative freeframe plug ins? or any sound responsive ones?

There was a serious bug in the Whorld Freeframe plugin that definitely caused Visual Jockey Gold to crash, and probably other hosts too. This bug was fixed in version 1.1.04. I suggest you try downloading the latest version and see if the bad behavior goes away.

1. In all previous versions, the deInstantiate function wasn't actually deinstantiating the plugin. This nasty behavior was caused by a simple coding error: the function was clearing the instance pointer before deleting it, instead of the other way around. |
